Honda pulled the wraps of the Honda New Small Concept and at the Auto Expo. This is the first time that Honda chose India for the world premier of a car. The concept car has been designed specially for India and emerging markets. The concept is a family car and comfortably seats five adult passengers.

Toyota Etios Concept

Fiat is renewing the Fiat Sedici in style and choice of engines: from now the Fiat Sedici is even more respectful of the environment thanks to two new Euro 5 engines (the 120CV 1.6 16v petrol engine and the 135CV 2.0 16v Multijet diesel), making it the "best in class" SUV for CO2 emissions.

With the new Sedici, the Fiat range acquires greater coherence and modernity, thanks to styling that is more consistent with that of other models. Now, the appearance of the new model incorporates a series of details that immediately refer to the modern crossovers, with a solution that is trend-proof and destined to last a long time. The new bumper, reminiscent of robust "bull bars", adds strength and character to the design, while the metallic trim around the fog lights emphasises a practical elegance that is perfectly at home even in the most prestigious city centres. The most distinctive feature of the new Fiat Sedici is its ability to move effortlessly from chaotic urban traffic to tough outdoor routes over rough and slippery terrain.
Compared with the previous 120 HP 1.9 Multijet, the new 135 HP 2.0 16v Multijet boasts 20% better CO2 emissions in the 4x4 version (and 17% better in the 4x2). In the case of the 4x2 version, figures for the combined cycle are just 129 g/km of CO2 and 4.9 l/100 km for fuel consumption. (The 4x4 version achieves 143 g/km of CO2 and 5.5 l/100 km). In some countries, Italy being one, the new Fiat Sedici even benefits from state contributions for new vehicles with reduced CO2 emissions. These figures put the Fiat Sedici at the top of its class and confirm Fiat's continuous commitment to combining "fun to drive" with protection of the environment.

SIMPLE BMW 3-Wheeled Concept Car

At the BMW Group, Simple is the acronym for sustainable and innovative mobility product for low energy consumption, a vehicle concept combining features and advantages of both motorcars and motorcycles.

The BMW Simple is 110 centimeters wide and its configuration for two people sitting one behind the other.

The concept owes its protective passenger compartment to motorcars whereas the streamline shape, the two occupants seated one behind the other and the uniquely driving experience are naturally owed to motorcycles.

The BMW Simple can get from 0 to 100 km/h in around 10 seconds and has a drag coefficient of 0.18. Using the electric motor and the combustion engine, the Simple would need just 6 kWh (equivalent to 0.7 litres of petrol) or two litres over 100 km.

Whilst researching ideas for futuristic urban mobility combined with the prerequisite of reduced consumption (less than 2l /100 km eqals less than 120mpg) and emission values (50g CO2 /100 km), the BMW Group spawned this concept vehicle featuring the extremely low weight of 450 kg and aerodynamic drag properties (0,18 drag coefficient), which of course also fulfilled all the BMW Group premium brand demands: sheer driving pleasure, innovative vehicle configuration, technology integration and a sense of comfort and spaciousness.

The M1 Homage BMW Concept Car

BMW has created the M1 Homage in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the M1. The design study was unveiled at the 2008 Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este held in Cernobbio, Italy.

Produced from 1978 to 1981, the M1 was BMW's first and only mid-engined street car. The project was originally contracted to Lamborghini for chassis development and assembly, but when the Italian firm hit a financial rough patch BMW took over. A total of 456 M1s were built.

The Aston Martin AMV8 Vantage is the basis for a smaller third Aston Martin model previously codenamed AM305. The AMV8 Vantage will be hand-assembled at Aston MartinÌs state-of-the-art production facility at Gaydon, in the United Kingdom, which is currently under construction. The name Vantage - which will also be adopted for the production version - was chosen due its long historic links with Aston Martin.

FC Sport Honda Concept Cars

Honda revealed the Honda FC Sport design study model, a hydrogen-powered, three-seat sports car concept, at the 2008 Los Angeles Auto Show.
The stunning design is meant to invoke the concept of a high-performance, low-weight hydrogen sports car. The FC Sport demonstrates Honda’s vision for making environmentally responsible vehicles that are also fun to drive. The "FC" stands for "Fuel Cell" as in hydrogen fuel cell—the same technology powering the FCX Clarity. With a 3-seat, driver-centered cockpit, a fuel cell powerplant opens the door for unprecedented engineering flexibility, allowing for a lower center gravity than any modern, piston-engined sports car. The FC Sport is symbolic of a future in which alternative fuel and zero emissions will rule the sports car world.

EUROPA i6 MID 2010 LOTUS CONCEPT CAR

This is a concept from South African designer Idries Noah the Lotus Europa i6 which looks a bit like the Elise/ Exige.
The Europa i6 concept study is a mid-engined, rear wheel drive sports car inspired in terms of design by the classic Europa and Elite as well as by the latest Lotus models. The independent designer supports that ideally, the Europa i6 would weigh in at about 2,030 lbs (920 kg) with power coming from a 2.0-liter supercharged inline six-cylinder engine.

In theory, he says that the sports car would sprint from zero to 100 km/h (62mph) in 7 seconds and on to a top speed of 165 mph or 265 km/h.

The VR Concept is a 2-seat sportscar designed for the year 2010. It is the first creation of Swedish Paulin Motor Company, founded by ex-Ford designer Daniel Paulin.

Porsche Panamera

Porsche has officially confirmed it'll build a four-seat, four-door sport coupe for the 2009 calendar year (2010 model year). To be called Panamera (supposedly for the Carrera Panamericana race), it'll become the fourth car in Porsche's lineup (911, Cayenne, Boxster/ Cayman) and will not share its platform or development with any other carmaker.

Its V-8 engines are from the Cayenne, the 340-horsepower naturally aspirated and 450-horse, 4.5-liter twin-turbo, although Porsche certainly has the capability to raise the power for each by the 2010 model year. Porsche's Leipzig factory will build the front-engine, rear-drive Panamera alongside the Cayenne SUV and the Carrera GT supercar.
