Mercedes-Benz GL-Class

Buy New Mercedes-Benz GL-Class Cars in India

Mercedes will be expanding its premium SUV segment in India with the introduction of Mercedes-Benz GL-Class. The seven-seater SUV will be available in both petrol and diesel versions. The petrol engine will come equipped with 5.5-litre capacity whereas the diesel variant will be powered by a 3.0-litre engine. The GL Class will impress Indian luxury car buyers with its royal styling, flawless performance, luxury features, and outstanding safety features.

Expected Launch Date: Late 2009
Estimated Price Tag : Rs 75 Lakh

Hyundai Santa Fe


The Hyundai Santa Fe is the latest attempt made by Hyundai to scorch the fast-growing SUV market in India. In India, the car will be introduced with a 2.2-litre diesel engine that will generate 151 bhp and a 2.7-litre petrol engine that will churn out 190 bhp. The exterior of the car will be adorned with slanting headlamps and tail lamps, the flowing waistline, and flared wheel arches. The interior of the car will be beautified with high quality materials and finest technologies.
Expected Launch Date: Late 2009
Estimated Price Tag : Rs 22 - 24 Lakh

Honda CR-V Diesel

With the growing demand of diesel cars, car manufacturers are introducing diesel variant of their cars. Honda too has plans to introduce the diesel version of the CR-V very soon. The petrol version of the CR-V is doing great in the market and with the addition of the diesel variant the popularity and the demands for the CR-V will further go high. The Honda CR-V diesel will get a 2.2-litre, 16-valve, twin-cam, direct-injection, iCTDI diesel engine that will produce 138bhp. The diesel engine will be complimented with a six-speed manual gearbox.

BMW X1

BMW X1

India will welcome BMW's second Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) X1 by the first quarter of 2010. The X1 is the latest SUV from BMW and is the smallest in the Sports Activity Vehicles (SAVs) segment. The BMW X1 is an alternative to BMW's best seller 3-Series. The BMW X1 will be available in two engine options in India. The X1 xdrive1.8d engine will churn out a horsepower of 143 bhp while the X1 xdrive1.8i engine will give around 140 bhp. Though the X1 is an AWD, it is tuned for road-biased driving and is not much fun for off-road driving.
Expected Launch Date: Early 2010

Maruti Suzuki is launching the Grand Vitara in diesel version very soon. The Grand Vitara Diesel will attract more customers. The Grand Vitara Diesel will take on any terrain with ease. The Grand Vitara Diesel will come with a 1.9 DDiS engine that can deliver a colossal 300Nm of torque and 127bhp of power. The powerful engine is coupled to the 4x4 system that will certainly give the new Grand Vitara an outstanding off-roading capacity and the massive 300Nm of torque means that the Grand Vitara can gladly take on any rough terrain.
